Universal Studios, Hollywood

America is home to some of the coolest amusement parks in the world, but one of our faves just has to be Universal Studios in Hollywood. Based around some of the biggest and best movies to ever grace our planet, Universal Studios is a film buffs dreamland and features some of the coolest movie sets, but also rides that will give you all kinds of feels (and heart palpitations). Perhaps the piece de resistance of this amusement park is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter that opened up in 2016 and gave Muggles the chance to get their magic on and see what life could really be like in Hogwarts. We’re sold.

Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi

You just need to look at a photograph of this amusement park to know that it means business. Not only is it associated with the Ferrari car and brand, but it’s also located in Abu Dhabi – one of the richest locations in the world. Unlike many other amusement parks around the globe, Ferrari World is actually an indoor theme park that boasts a ridiculous rollercoaster that will hurtle you through the air at a whopping 150mph! Don’t worry, though. This theme park also boasts rides for children and supercar shows that are fun for all of the family.

Beto Carrero World, Brazil

If you ever find yourself in Brazil, you might want to stop off at Beto Carrero World – because this place is utterly awesome. Even from the outside, you can tell that this place is going to a whole load of fun, thanks to the colorful buildings and turrets of the makeshift castle. With 14 square kilometers of land that’s chock-full of rides and amusements, you’ll have a hard time fitting everything in one day. Because of this, you might want to spread this excitement over a couple of days. It’ll be totally worth it, we promise.

Dyrehavsbakken, Denmark

Okay, so this place is ridiculously hard to pronounce, but it’s super fun to go to! Located just outside of Copenhagen, this amusement park takes the biscuit as the oldest theme park in the world. Opened in 1583, Dyrehavsbakken is still going strong today and has built up a reputation for itself as being fun, exciting, but totally traditional. From wooden roller coasters that don’t look as though they should work but they are totally safe to amazing amusement games, this place really will fill you with all of the feels.

Europa Park, Germany

If you’re the kind of person that loves to mix fun and education, then the Europa Park amusement park in Germany is for you. This theme park offers thrill-seeking rides that will have you screaming your heads off but will also provide you with the chance to learn a little more about the world around you. From fairytales to space, this park will take you across the world from the comfort (or discomfort) of its rollercoasters and provide you with a truly magical feeling.
